Battery Replacement for Fossil Hybrid Smartwatches
If you own a Fossil hybrid watch, the battery you need to purchase is a cr2430. These batteries are very common and easy to buy in offline and online stores like amazon.
The CR2430 battery is a 3v lithium battery, see the shape below. This example is made by Renata, but you can also get the produced by Duracell, Energizer and most other big battery manufacturers.
There is one exception to the above rule, the fossil hybrid fb-01 requires a CR2025 battery.
Some of the Fossil hybrid watches do not need replacement batteries, the batteries are chargeable like in cell phones. If you view the product page of your watch (find the SKU number) on the Fossil website, you will be able to see the battery type in the dropdown menu. If the battery number starts with ‘SP’, it will be rechargeable. See some popular models below and the batteries required:

- Very carefully remove the old battery with a small screwdriver
- Replace with your new battery
